Terms of Service

1. Booking & Payment

A non‑refundable retainer is required to secure your session date and time. Your session is not officially booked until the retainer is received. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session unless otherwise stated in writing.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Life happens — if you need to reschedule, please notify me as soon as possible. • Rescheduling is allowed once at no additional cost if requested at least 48 hours in advance. • Cancellations result in forfeiture of the retainer. • Weather‑related rescheduling is always allowed at no charge.

3. Travel Policy

Travel within Walker County and Montgomery County, Texas is included at no additional cost. Sessions outside this area may require a travel fee based on mileage, time, and any necessary lodging. All travel fees will be provided upfront before booking.

4. Image Delivery

Final edited images are delivered through a private Pixieset online gallery. Typical turnaround times: • Portrait sessions: 7–14 days • Weddings & events: 4–6 weeks

You may download your high‑resolution images directly from your gallery.

5. Print & Product Orders

Your Pixieset gallery includes access to: • Professional‑quality prints • Canvases, framed artwork, and wall displays • Albums and keepsakes • Additional digital images • Custom print packages

All print orders are fulfilled through professional labs. Prices are subject to change based on lab rates.

6. Copyright & Usage Rights

JB Yard Photography retains full copyright to all images. Clients receive a personal-use license, allowing you to download, print, and share your photos for personal, non‑commercial purposes.

Images may not be altered, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

7. Photographer Usage

JB Yard Photography may use images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing before your session.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to: • Arrive on time • Communicate location preferences and special requests in advance • Ensure all participants (especially children) are prepared for the session • Obtain any required permits for specific locations

9. Artistic Style

By booking, you acknowledge that you have reviewed JB Yard Photography’s portfolio and understand the artistic style, editing approach, and creative direction. Editing choices are final.

10. Liability

JB Yard Photography is not responsible for: • Injuries during the session • Damage to personal property • Delays caused by weather, emergencies, or circumstances beyond control

In the rare event the photographer cannot complete the session due to illness or emergency, a full refund or rescheduled session will be offered.

11. File Storage

Galleries remain active for 30 days. Please download and back up your images promptly. JB Yard Photography does not guarantee long‑term storage after gallery expiration.
